After nearly two months of intensive construction, on May 19, two new restroom facilities at the \u0110\u1ed9ng Quan Primary School campus were officially inaugurated and opened for use. This marks a significant improvement in providing a safer and more hygienic learning environment for over 200 children in this remote, highland region.<\/div>\n

Until recently, both students and teachers had to rely on makeshift restroom facilities that were neither safe nor sanitary. The situation worsened significantly after Typhoon Yagi, further deteriorating the infrastructure and disrupting daily activities\u2014ultimately undermining the overall learning experience.<\/div>\n

With the support of MSD\u202fUnited\u202fWay Vietnam and our partners, as part of the \u201cJoining Hands to Overcome Typhoon Yagi \u2013 For a Resilient Vietnam\u201d project, two brand-new, fully equipped and gender-segregated bathrooms have been constructed. These facilities provide essential safety, hygiene, and privacy for primary school students.<\/div>\n

At the inauguration ceremony, teachers, parents, students, and MSD UWV representatives came together to capture joyful moments in photos, exchange heartfelt appreciation, and enjoy performances by the children. The students expressed great excitement at using the fresh, clean facilities for the first time and promised to take good care of them. They feel proud and grateful that their school environment is now more furnished.<\/div>\n
