These heartfelt accounts from families with children living with cerebral palsy in Nghe An province partially depict the severe aftermath of Typhoon Wipha (Storm No. 3) in July 2025. Prolonged heavy rains caused severe flooding in many areas, cutting off roads, disrupting communications, and making travel and access to essential goods extremely difficult for local residents.<\/div>\n

Among the most affected are families of children with cerebral palsy. Already facing numerous daily challenges, they now grapple with compounded hardships as assistive devices, medicine, and basic supplies for caring for their children were swept away by the floodwaters.<\/div>\n

In response to this urgent situation, MSD United Way Vietnam partnered with the Cerebral Palsy Family Association Vietnam (CPFAV)<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> to deliver emergency support to 20 such families in Nghe An and Dong Thap provinces, with a total value of 50,000,000 VND (approximately 2,000 USD*).<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
