PURPOSE:
Environmental health and the quality of life of the people are the driving forces and goals that inspire us to further our efforts in the journey of nurturing expansive green forests across the S-shaped land.

Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long (ĐBSCL) As a mother, I deeply resonate with the 'New Chapter of Life' project that MSD United Way Vietnam has been implementing since 2014. This initiative aims to promote birth registration rights and other fundamental rights for children and youth in vulnerable circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City and across Vietnam. I hope that through my efforts and the resources I can mobilize, I can accompany this project and other initiatives of MSD United Way Vietnam to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals in our community một trong những vùng dễ bị tổn thương nhất tại Việt Nam trước biến đổi khí hậu. Nằm ở hạ lưu sông Mekong, khu vực này thường xuyên hứng chịu các tác động tiêu cực như triều cường dâng cao, ngập úng và sạt lở bờ sông. Mực nước biển dâng gây ra tình trạng ngập lụt, ảnh hưởng đến sản xuất nông nghiệp, đời sống người dân và cơ sở hạ tầng. Những thách thức này không chỉ đe dọa kinh tế mà còn ảnh hưởng đến môi trường và an sinh xã hội trong khu vực.
Trên hành trình lan tỏa giá trị tích cực đến cộng động về việc bảo vệ rừng và đa dạng sinh học, Đại diện MSD United Way Vietnam – Ông Lê Anh Ngọc chia sẻ: “Trồng 10,000m² rừng phòng hộ sẽ góp phần giúp cộng đồng địa phương tại Trà Vinh sẽ ứng phó với biến đổi khí hậu đồng thời tạo một pháo đài xanh, một cánh rừng xanh trong tương lai giúp bà con nông dân ổn định cuộc sống cũng như góp phần thực hiện cam kết bảo vệ môi trường của MSD United Way Vietnam”
