THE JOURNEY OF “NURTURING LIFE” IN TRA VINH, MEKONG DELTA

With the goal of restoring and creating green fortresses in the Mekong Delta, MSD United Way Vietnam, along with Yves Rocher Vietnam has collaborated with the People's Committee of Mỹ Long Nam Commune and the social enterprise MangLub Vietnam tại Trà Vinh trồng 10,000m² rừng phòng hộ với tổng số 2500 cây xanh.

 

Mr. Le Anh Ngoc, representative of MSD United Way Viet Nam, shared: "Planting 10,000 square meters of protective forest will support the local community in Tra Vinh in adapting to climate change, while also creating a green fortress — a thriving forest for the future. It will help farmers stabilize their livelihoods and contribute to MSD United Way Viet Nam’s commitment to environmental protection."

 

MSD United Way Viet Nam firmly believes that each tree planted is a step forward in improving our living environment — making the Mekong Delta greener and more sustainable. The health of the environment and the well-being of communities are both the driving force and ultimate goal of our continued efforts to sow the seeds of green forests across this beautiful S-shaped land.
