SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHING THE "ENVIRONMENTAL AMBASSADOR – MANGROVE FOREST PLANTING PROJECT AT CU LAO DUNG, SOC TRANG"

Cu Lao Dung district is among the areas most severely affected by natural disasters in Soc Trang province. In response, with the goal of supporting local residents in windbreak, storm protection, and soil erosion prevention — while contributing to the socio-economic development of the region and aligning with the national strategy on disaster prevention and control — MSD United Way Viet Nam collaborated with MangLub Vietnam to successfully raise funds via MoMo

From August 28 to August 30, 2024, the project to plant 2,500 mangrove trees was carried out by MSD United Way Viet Nam and MangLub, with support from the People’s Committee of Soc Trang Province. The saplings were planted with the hope that they will soon grow into a lush green forest — providing protection and shelter for local communities, while also contributing to the restoration and development of the region's ecosystem.

MSD United Way Viet Nam sincerely thanks all MoMo users, generous donors, and partner organizations who have stood by us in this meaningful effort — helping improve living conditions for the people of Cu Lao Dung, protecting the land from erosion, and strengthening the area’s resilience to storms and natural disasters, all in pursuit of a better life for everyone.
