After nearly three months of implementation and construction, the two water supply projects in Suoi Hom area, Tau Dau Village, and Nhong Ven Resettlement Site, Un Village, Van Ho District, Son La Province, have been completed and officially put into operation. On March 20th, MSD United Way Vietnam, in collaboration with RIC Vietnam, held an inauguration ceremony in a joyful atmosphere filled with the laughter of the local residents.
The residents were delighted and joyful to receive support with the two clean water supply projects.
Previously, Suoi Hom area and Nhong Ven Resettlement Site faced a severe shortage of clean water. Residents had to rely on small mountain streams, channeling water through makeshift pipelines, which were insufficient to meet their daily needs and posed significant health risks. Clean water, something often taken for granted, was a luxury for the people living here.
At the inauguration ceremony, Ms. S.T T and Ms. D.T T, representatives of the beneficiaries of the Nhong Ven domestic water project in Un Village, Song Khua Commune, eagerly shared: "Before this water project, we had to bring water from far away. Thank you to MSD, MoMo, and the RIC Center for sponsoring this water project, helping us have a better life."
The residents were overjoyed to have access to a sufficient and hygienic water supply.
We sincerely thank the generous donors, especially the MoMo Super App, for accompanying this project and contributing to bringing clean water and renewed hope to the residents. This collaboration has not only provided fresh water but also paved the way for a brighter future for Suoi Hom area, Tau Dau Village, and Nhong Ven Resettlement Site in Song Khua Commune, Van Ho District, Son La Province.
