Job Title:: Program and Event Coordinator

We are seeking a Program and Event Coordinator to support our operational effectiveness; detailed job descriptions are listed below.  

Main responsibilities: 

  • Directly plan, implement, and coordinate projects in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region. 
  • Coordinate and organize MSDUWV’s fundraising events. 

Scope of coordination: 

  • Businesses/Organizations/Individuals 
  • Communications Officer 

Key Responsibilities 

  1. 1. Project Management and Coordination (Ho Chi Minh City & Southern Region): You will be responsible for the entire project management lifecycle, from surveys and planning to implementation coordination and evaluation. The primary focus is on projects supporting child protection and care, including birth registration, legal aid, nutrition, medical care, and education for disadvantaged children. 
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and budgets for activities in HCMC. 
  • Coordinate activity implementation according to plans. 
  • Monitor and evaluate activities based on required frameworks and plans.  
  • Develop partnerships for effective program and project implementation.

  • Develop event plans and budgets based on program and organizational requirements.  
  • Source venues for events. 
  • Complete necessary procedures with venue providers/suppliers/sponsors. 
  • Collaborate with program/project teams for communication, design, and participant/guest invitations. 
  • Coordinate event tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion by staff, partners, and service providers.  
  • Provide information, photos, and videos of events for communication, sponsor benefits, and fundraising. 
  • Report and evaluate events. 

      3. Hỗ trợ việc gây quỹ tại TP.HCM: 

  • Identify locations for fundraising booths. 
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with partners. 
  • Place donation boxes, collect donations when full, and deposit funds into the organization's account. 
  • Identify and maintain corporate sponsors for business cooperation models.

  • Manage and update organizational databases (suppliers, partners, media, project monitoring). 
  • Update event organization and program coordination procedures.  
  • Recruit, manage, and coordinate volunteers/interns.  
  • Perform other tasks assigned by your line manager. 

Reports to: HCMC Office Manager and/or MSDUWV HCMC Director

Supervises: Follow to MSD UWV decision  

Requirements cầu năng lực: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in social sciences, journalism, communications, public relations, or business administration. 
  • Knowledge: Project management and event organization. 
  • Skills: Planning, time management, coordination, teamwork, strong communication, proficient English, IT literacy. 
  • Attributes: Flexible, integrity, proactive, responsible, creative, multitasking. 
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a similar position. 
  • Abilities: Excellent organizational and work management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong multitasking abilities.
