On January 30 - 31, MSD United Way Vietnam, in collaboration with the People's Committees of Lien Chieu and Thanh Khe districts in Da Nang City, and the Red Cross Association of Phu Vang District in Thua Thien Hue Province, organized the program “Donating Support Gifts to 150 Households Affected by Floods in Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang.” This effort aims to share the hardships and bring joy and warmth to families facing difficulties as the new year approaches, especially after the series of floods that caused significant damage.
Each gift package includes essential items such as rice, grains, milk, cooking oil, seasoning powder, pork sausage, as well as household necessities like laundry detergent and blankets. It is hoped that these gift packages will serve as a small source of encouragement, helping to share the hardships and bring joy and warmth to families in need as the new year approaches, especially after the series of floods that caused significant damage.
Mr. Tran Van Nhan, Vice President of the Red Cross Association of Thua Thien Hue Province, shared: “The Red Cross Association of the province and district sincerely thanks the support from your company and looks forward to receiving continued care and assistance from your company to help the poor in Thua Thien Hue Province. The Red Cross Association of Thua Thien Hue and Phu Vang District is very pleased to have MSD United Way Vietnam’s attention and support for poor households affected by the floods in 2023. For these impoverished households, life was already difficult, and the floods further worsened their situation. Therefore, the support from your company, especially close to the Lunar New Year, is a great encouragement for the flood-affected families, helping them to celebrate a warmer and happier Tet holiday.”
