The project "Joining Hands to Overcome Typhoon Yagi – For a Resilient Vietnam" was launched on September 10th, 2024, with… the goal of providing emergency relief and post-flood recovery support for children and families in affected areas. MSD United Way Vietnam launched the **"Joining Hands to Overcome Typhoon Yagi – For a Resilient Vietnam" project with two phases**:
- Phase 1: Emergency relief for children and families after the floods (September 10th – September 30th, 2024).
- Phase 2: Recovery support and education access for children (from October 2024).
👉 The activities carried out in Phase 1 include:
- Give aupport packages to 260 households in 2 communes Dao Thinh - Nga Quan
- Giving away support packages, books and pens were sent to 4 schools heavily affected by storm No. 3 in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province, including: Minh Quan Primary and Secondary School; Dao Thinh Primary and Secondary School; Quy Mong Primary and Secondary School; and Co Phuc Town Primary School.
- Donating in-kind gifts to three schools: Primary and Secondary School No. 2 Hong Ca; Minh Bao Primary & Secondary School; Minh Bao Commune, Yen Bai City; Tuy Loc Primary & Secondary School** – Tuy Loc Commune, Yen Bai City
