RELIEF SUPPORT TO ADDRESS DAMAGE CAUSED BY TYPHOON BUALOI AT THAN SA PRIMARY SCHOOL, THAN SA DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

December 1, 2025 – MSD United Way Vietnam (MSD), in collaboration with the Vietnam Innovation of Education Foundation (VIEF), organized an aid distribution ceremony to support recovery efforts from Typhoon Matmo at the main campus of Than Sa Primary School in Than Sa Commune, Thai Nguyen Province. The event was attended by representatives from the donor Biti's, school teachers, and over 100 students.

At the ceremony, MSD and VIEF, together with our partners, officially provided Than Sa Primary School with the following relief items to address typhoon damage:
  • Essential supplies for 232 students and their families.
  • Boarding kitchen and dining equipment (refrigerator, gas stove, rice cooker, water pump).
  • One academic year (2025-2026) of boarding meal support for 19 students in difficult circumstances.

The program also featured interactive educational games for the students, designed to strengthen their understanding of clean water and environmental sanitation—topics of critical importance in this storm-affected area where they live and study. The event concluded on a warm and positive note, with students gaining useful knowledge and receiving creative gifts from MSD United Way, VIEF, and their partners.
